Counsellor

Hello, my name is Arlo. I am a queer, transgender and neurodivergent individual with a love for people and animals.

I have an educational background in psychology and counselling and love working with people to make their lives easier and more enjoyable! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my pets, gardening, crafting, and playing D&D with my friends.

What’s counselling?

Our Counsellors are here to offer a safe, affirming space to talk things through. FAQs

Where can I get support?

We have Peer Support Coaches all over Australia. We provide support in-person and also online telehealth support through video and phone calls or SMS.

How much does it cost?

We charge the rates set by the NDIS. At the moment, counselling costs $156.16 per hour depending on where you’re located.

Support on weekends, public holidays and at different times during the day can cost more. Travel is also charged on top of those rates.

When you join Neuroqueer, we’ll help you create a budget and make sure that you’re happy with it.

How do I make an appointment?

I want support but I’m a bit unsure?

It’s very normal to feel a bit nervous about meeting a new person, especially if it’s your first time getting support or you’re unsure what to expect.

We will share a Social Story with you at each step so you know what to expect.

We will also spend time getting to know you and part of that will be helping you to figure out what kind of support you need, and how we can give you that support in a way that is comfortable for you.
